A few years ago, J. and I went to a local First Friday and we saw a replica of the Mona Lisa in a cute wood frame. We thought she was most interesting, hanging on the wall amongst a litter of overlooked collectibles, but, for some unknown reason, we didn’t snatch her up. I still regret it to this day (she was gone, of course, the next First Friday).
Now, every time we visit an antique store, I scan all over just for a glimpse of Mona (or any other eye-catching art). I won’t let her get away next time.
